Getting my butt kicked!

I am so happy it is finally Friday, not only is the weekend here, but I submitted my two final papers yesterday and closed the book on yet another semester of grad school! Now to change my focus and study for NASM, yikes 1 week until that will be done too. Who's taken this, any last minute advice?

Luckily I have still managed to get in my workouts and after a rough week needed the tough strength workout my trainer inflicted on me! I truly did get my butt (and arms) kicked.

I know I have mentioned his love of push ups before (and my hatred) but they just keep coming, along with pull ups with slow holds, lunges, squats, shoulders (a lot!). You know you had a good work out when you wake up the next day barley able to lift your arms! I love the tough moves that challenge me, What is your favorite challenging workout?

After mentioning to him last week that I feel like a wimp being the only girl in the weight room some nights while the guys life twice my body weight he decided to increase my weight even more! I love the strength, I am also thrilled to be seeing huge changes in my muscle definition.

Jill and I can't believe the response and excitement so far for 13 in 2013 In less than 1 week we hit 200 participants, who else is ready to challenge yourself to run 13 races in 2013, me I am running 13 halfs in 2013.

This overwhelming response will only help the prizes continue to roll in. Time to reveal a couple for you now...

Simple Trends I love these headbands! They are cute, stay in place the entire workout and keep my messy hair looking good for an early morning workout. Better yet they are a small company and the service is wonderful. Check out my review for more information. We have 4 Simple Trends Headbands to share with challengers.

Next for your feet, Swiftwick socks! A good running sock makes such a difference. Jill has wonderful things to say about SwiftWick and loves the socks. Check them out Twitter  or Website

Check out Jill's post on Fitness Friday talking about running 12 halfs in 2012.
