A Big Stress is Gone!

Guess what?!.... One big stress is gone after yesterday and I am thrilled but now I have free time like never before.

I Passed My Nurse Practitioner Boards!

Okay maybe running career!
I can honestly say that even after all the other certification and board exams I have taken this was the toughest! I am now adding certified Family NP to my certified Adult CNS, yay! I wonder how much better I will run now with this stress gone from my life, I mean I've been dreaming of anemia and antibiotics, heck even dreamed I had to take my test in the dark.

Thanks to this guy I got out for a nice 4 mile run to clear my mind yesterday morning before heading to my test. Much needed run for us both! It is amazing how much better a run makes your mind feel. I honestly think all the mental work has left my body depleted and with little energy being a huge aspect of my bad running, poor healing and just overall blah feeling. I'm not normally one to worry over things  but his test was huge and meant I could keep the job I accepted or would need to decline and spent more $ on another round of testing.

Of course to celebrate we had to break out my favorite bottle of wine...Sebastiani CherryBlock Cabernet. How classy to combine such a bottle with veggie burgers, but who cares!

Now what to do with all my free time, no more spending every afternoon and evening studying. Time for myself again! I might even get a chance to read for fun, I bet I can get through this pile of magazines that has been building for months! Any good book recommendations?

I might even get my house organized. And think about all the extra time to train! I plan to work on growing my coaching business and would love an official name for my business: Suggestions? I have 2 1/2 months until I start work so plenty of time to indulge in me and family time. What would you do with a little extra time?

  9. Congrats!!! Time to celebrate, most definitely.

I read your reply to my question on your last race post and I like it! To me you sound pretty frustrated after each race but it is indeed probably just they way you are (little complaining eventhough in reality it is always fun) and I am glad that although not all races go according to plan it does not beat you down. Then I say, continue doing what you are doing!:)

Coming to think of it I too pretty much complain all the time after races, but I do not race as much as you do so it is not that pronounced.
