Now on to my weekly menu, I feel like I am getting into a meal rut, I
think a lot has to do with the lack of nice weather. I want to move on to
warmer weather foods but it stays cold. Trying a couple new recipes this week
in hopes of changing things up a bit. How do you get out of a meal rut?
Breakfast
Banana Breakfast
Cake (my usual)
GF Flax Muffin with
Almond Butter
Lunch/Dinner
Black Bean/Sweet
Potato Burger & Roasted Potatoes
Grilled Eggplant with
Mashed Cauliflower & ?
Veggie Bean Crockpot Meal
(Based on Recipe)
Snack
Veggies and Hummus
ProBar
Apples with SunButter
Brown Rice Cakes with
Almond Butter
Granola with Almond Milk Yogurt
Love the idea of a vegetarian challenge! Hmm, good question about ruts. I guess I try to mix it up enough every week that I don't have a chance to get tired of anything in particular. Hope you get warm weather to stay soon!
ReplyDeleteI try this too but we seem to get happy with the regular meals.
DeleteYay! I've been going back and forth about a vegetarian lifestyle for so long so this challenge will be perfect for me!
ReplyDeleteYay, perfect way to give it a try :)
DeleteWoohoo! I've been wanting to go veg (again -- have been both vegetarian and vegan in the past) and this is exactly what I need to get me back on track. I feel so much better without the meat and a challenge is always helpful.
ReplyDeleteI feel much better too :)
DeleteA vegetarian challenge? What a great idea! I usually peruse my favorite cooking blogs for new meal ideas when I find myself in a rut. I try to experiment with a new one each week!
ReplyDeleteI need to get back to browsing blogs again or actually use some recipe I have pinned!
DeleteWe're both in a rut! I'm trying all new lunch/dinner recipes this week.
ReplyDeleteNo new ones for us, but I did use a few we haven't done in quite some time.
